adidas kicked off its first Consortium tour, the year-long, globetrotting expedition to some of the planet's most influential sneaker retail outposts. Currently on the tour's third stop, adidas has teamed up with Berlin's Solebox, for a rendition of their Ultra Boost UNCAGED silhouette.
Last week, we gave a look at the Solebox x adidas Ultra Boost UNCAGED. That teaser did no justice, compared to the images we got today. Designed by Hikmet Sugoer for Solebox, the new UNCAGED silhouette features an individually woven Primeknit material incorporated with "light grey" suede to complete the upper. The heel features subtle Solebox branding in medium grey, atop a white Ultra Boost midsole, then finishing the look with a contrasting red outsole. Consortium Tour branding is also on the tongue, along with allover Consortium print on the insole. The collab also delivered three matching laces with the shoe. Sugoer 's red and green color palette was inspired by Berlin's coat of arms shield.
These went up for release yesterday on Solebox.com and in-store. Unfortunately, they are all sold out but you'll have another chance at these March 26th when they officially release at select Consortium retailers.
