Another time honoring silhouette pops up from Jordan Brand.
In celebration of its 20th year Anniversary, Jordan Brand will be bringing back the Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" the same pair Michael Jordan wore during Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz on June 11, 1997. Undoubtedly, the Chicago Bulls went on to win that game but by only 2 points.
The Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" 2016 release is rumored to be exact as the original debut in 1997, while taking on JB's latest premium construction. Although we have seen "Flu Game" edition released several times since then, the last release featured a commemorative stamp referencing the historic Game 5 in 97. While the images below do not hint any significant markings, the 2016 "Flu Game" is dressed in Black leather upper with a Red mudguard, extending to the outsole and to the back of the heel. Matching Red accents land on the tongue and heel tab while being finished off with black laces.
