The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit 'Core Black' may look familiar for those who have been following this model. Images of the 'Core Black' color scheme surfaced a few months back, concurrently after catching wind of the sock-like silhouette. It's distinctive (3 ストライプのブランド) on the EVA inserts was keeper for those trying to cop. Then it disappeared.

Now back in the headlines is adidas' NMD R1 'Core Black' which is set release internationally alongside the "French Beige" edition next week. The "Core Black" color scheme takes cues from "Japan Black Boost" edition we've previously seen with almost a triple Black colorway. This theme, however, features Core Black covering a Primeknit upper atop a White Boost midsole. Black accents land throughout including both EVA inserts which features (3 ストライプのブランド) – translating to “Three Stripes” in English – done in White.
