Sir Charles' Olympic silhouette makes a return.
In celebration of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Nike will be re-releasing a few of its classic silhouettes worn by former NBA Olympians. Charles Barkley's 1992 signature Nike Air Force 180 "Olympic" has made the list of inclusion and will make a return early in the next month.
Charles Barkley debuted the Nike Air Force 180 "Olympic" in the 1992 Olympic Games, where Sir Charles dominated the court and led his team in scoring. The silhouette will return in OG fashion with a predominantly White and Obsidian Blue color scheme with Metallic Gold and Varsity Red accents throughout. As you can see, white leather constructs the upper with Obsidian landing on the tongue, heel, foot strap and midsole. Red also hits the heel while also making its way to the tongue liner and insoles. Metallic Gold can be found highlighting the stitching on the strap, tongue and heel as well as on the gradient midsole to complete the Olympic look.
