The summer of 1996 in Atlanta is relived with a fitting green silhouette.
With the 2016 Summer Olympic Games getting ready to kick off, Nike Sportswear will be revisiting the 90's with a new Air Trainer SC that pays tribute to 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Dubbed the Nike Air Trainer SC High "ATL '96 Olympics," this special edition is slated to debut this month.
This "ATL '96 Olympics" Air Trainer SC High comes dressed in tonal Green color scheme, inspired by the official 1996 Atlanta Olympics branding, with White and Metallic Gold highlighting the accents throughout. Looking closer, we this Olympic edition constructed with a leather base with rough suede overlays. White can bee seen on hitting the tongue and midsole while Gold also lands on the midsole, eyestays and Nike branding on the tongue. Additional highlights include an embroidered Peach on the tongue – in reference to Atlanta – a Laurel Wreath on the insoles and confetti within the translucent outsole, which also reference to the official 1996 Atlanta Olympics branding.
