adidas NMD_XR1 'Black' Release Date

Arriving mid-September.

adidas Originals recently took to twitter to announce the official release of their adidas NMD Color Boost Pack, which will include two NMD_R1 models and NMD_XR1. Today, we get a closer look at the adidas NMD XR1 'Core Black' edition that will release next month.

The adidas NMD_XR1 is the latest edition to the popular NMD family. As you see this 'Core Black' rendition comes dressed in a predominantly Black color scheme with a pinstripe-like micro-rib knitted upper. Similar to the Ultra Boost, the XR1 host a cage system along the side panels which also features Japanese text, translating to "The Brand with 3 Stripes." Additional highlights include suede on the branded heel patch, Black EVA inserts, reflective 3M laces, while the triple black look is completed with the newly introduced colored Boost Technology that runs through the midsole.
