The Air Jordan 1 OG "Bred" is probably the most iconic silhouette from the Jordan Brand since it was banned in 1985. The model is scheduled to make a return later this year with a remastered makeover, which will feature premium construction throughout.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is set to make a comeback flaunting the in its OG "Bred" color scheme of Black and Red, which initially got the sneakers banned from the NBA. The 2016 edition will feature a mixture of smooth leather and premium tumbled leather throughout the upper while atop a clean White midsole and Red rubber outsole. Additional detailing includes, ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue while not include the ‘X’ detailing on the heel that was seen on the original "Banned" release from 2011.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Banned" is scheduled to release Labor Day weekend on Sept. 3rd at select Jordan Brand retailers. The price tag will be set at $160 USD.
