Yesterday marked the last day of Paris Fashion Week and while the event was coming to a closing, adidas Originals was backstage snapping pictures at the upcoming adidas NMD R2, modeled by White Mountaineering.
Here we get our first look the next edition of the NMD series, which comes in a the same low cut fashion as its predecessor. Looking closer, we see the adidas NMD R2 dons a Primeknit upper with Three Stripes running diagonally through the toe box, while atop the beloved Boost midsole. We notice there is an exclusion, which is the front EVA insert has been removed, while the back takes on a new shape.
In the photo above, we also see another new edition of R1 silhouette featuring an interesting Red, Navy and White color blocking throughout. While we are hoping this is a soon-to-be "Olympic" release, there is no word on either the , adidas NMD R2 or this edition. From the photos there are hints as to, if this might be an adidas Originals x White Mountaineering exclusive, collaboration, or upcoming release.
