Vans taps Japanese electronics and software company Nintendo for a collaborative capsule collection for Summer 2016.
The Vans x Nintendo capsule will host several of classic silhouettes including the Vans Authentic, Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, and Slip-On emblazoned with 8-bit video game graphic that includes the likes of Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt and The Legend of Zelda. The collection will also consist of an apparel range that will drop alongside the footwear.
Each silhouette will come dressed in characters and elements of the respective game. Additional detailing comprises of game cartridge graphics on the tongue as well as "Game Over" gracing the outsole. Each pair will also include Nintendo console packaging which will look identical to the original console.

Vans x Nintendo Collection Release Date
Look for the Vans x Nintendo collection tomorrow, June 3rd, at Off the Wall retailers. OG Gamers can even et in on the action as the collection will be available in adults and children’s sizing.
