Nike Dunk High ‘Be True to Your School’ is Making a Comeback

Circa 1985, Nike embarked on the College Colors Program, an effort designed to preserve school spirit within college and university campuses throughout the states. The CCP released a a range of school-specific apparel along with footwear, allowing fans of all ages to identify with their favorite teams. It was this initial platform that helped usher in a new line of Nike Dunk. The collection debuted continuing the school-specific theme while simpler colorways were created to be adopted by colleges and high school with school colors alike.

With Final Four over and the Villanova Wildcats taking home the win, Nike has re-released the ‘Be True to Your School’ Nike Dunk High series. Starting off with only two colorways – red/white and blue/white – the silhouette will return in original form with a traditional leather build and classic Nike Air cushioning.
