The Air Griffey Max 1 returns in OG fashion.
In celebration of the the Ken Griffey's Nike Air Griffey Max 1 20th Anniversary, Nike will be releasing another OG "Freshwater" colorway that original debuted in 1996.
Dubbed the "Freshwater" Air Griffey Max 1, the colorway is similar to the other "Freshwater" edition that hit retailers a few months ago. This "Freshwater" edition however, references Griffey's current team at the time – the Seattle Mariners – coming in a Black, White, Freshwater and Red theme. Looking closer, you see the base features White leather with Black suede overlays throughout the upper. The Freshwater shade is very minimal yet prominent, making its wat on the tongue, heel tab and with the Visible Air Max midsole. Hints of red land on the heel and eyelets finishing off the Seattle Mariners look.
