SNKRS Unveils the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard Away"

New release date along with an official look via Nike.

As speculated on Twitter via DJ Folk, we will see a few Air Jordan 1 releases that will coincide with the Jordan Brand's latest series, the Air Jordan XXXI. While Folk didn't give up too much info, we now see the Air Jordan 1 "Reversed Shattered Backboard" will release near the Air Jordan XXXI "Shattered Backboard" edition.

This "Reversed Shattered Backboard" edition takes on a full premium leather upper, with color blocking similar to the Air Jordan 1 "Bred" edition. However this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in White, Starfish and Black color scheme, giving it the reverse effect of the original "Shattered Backboard" 1s. Looking closer, we see soft White tumbled leather hitting the base with Starfish Orange overlays and Black contrast accenting the Swoosh, wings and collar. Finishing off the silhouette is a White midsole atop a contrasting Starfish sole, successfully giving this edition the "reversed" aesthetic.

Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard Away" Release Info

Currently, there is no official release date scheduleds for this "Reverse Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 edition, but sources say we should be able to pick up a pair from select Jordan Brand retailers, come October, with the price tag set at the traditional $160 USD.
